ラウレンがポーツマスに移籍

嗚呼、ラウレン(;ω;)

Arsenal can confirm that Lauren has signed for Portsmouth for an undisclosed fee.
Lauren, who is 30 on Friday, signed for Arsenal from Spanish side Real Mallorca in May 2000 and during his time with the Gunners made 241 appearances, playing an integral role in the Club winning two Premiership titles, three FA Cups, two Community Shields and remaining unbeaten throughout the entire 2003/04 Premiership season.
Originally a central midfielder, Lauren (full name Laureno Bisan-Etame Mayer) was one of the most consistent right full-backs in the Premier League during his time with the Club, with his versatility also enabling him to play a role in midfield and at left full-back on occasions.
Lauren, who was voted in the PFA Team of the Year for 2003/2004, made 22 appearances for Cameroon before retiring from international football in 2002, after winning two African Cup of Nations, an Olympic gold medal and representing his country at the 2002 World Cup Finals.
Lauren’s last appearance for the Arsenal first team was on 21st January 2006, in last season’s Carling Cup semi-final second leg against Wigan Athletic, before a knee injury and subsequent operation ruled the defender out of action for almost a year.
An excellent penalty taker, Lauren will always be remembered for his calm penalty conversion in the 86th minute to secure a vital 2-1 Highbury win over Tottenham Hotspur in April of the 2002 ‘double’ winning year.
On Lauren’s departure, Arsène Wenger said: “Lauren’s contribution to Arsenal since he joined the Club in 2000 has been absolutely outstanding. He has been a central figure in the Club winning the Premiership twice and the FA Cup three times and his high level of performances have made sure that he will always have a place in Arsenal history. On behalf of the players and staff we wish Lauren the best of luck at Portsmouth.”
Lauren said: “I have made many great friends and have many wonderful memories from the years I have spent at Arsenal. I have enjoyed great success with the Club and I am very grateful to Arsène Wenger, my team mates and all the fantastic Arsenal fans for their support. The fans have been brilliant. Of course I am sad to be leaving Arsenal, but am I am very much looking forward to a new challenge at Portsmouth.”
Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Lauren the best of luck during his time with Portsmouth.
